The club have never won four straight league titles but could achieve that if they retain their crown next season
Mario Gotze says Bayern Munich’s priority next season is to win a fourth straight Bundesliga title.
The Bavarians have won the league in each of the past three seasons and could set a record if they retain their crown next season.
“It has never been done before, winning the league four times in a row,” he told reporters. “That’s a big goal of ours but it shows how difficult it is to do that.
“We want to get to the final of every competition and most importantly improve, that’s the main thing.”
Gotze also praised Wolfsburg, who finished runners-up in the league and won the DFB-Pokal and expects them to challenge again in 2015-16.
“They were the strongest competitor last season and I think this year they have a very good team again. They’ll challenge for sure.”
